My sweet boy turned 1 last month, where does the time go? I feel like he's grown up so much faster than my first but I think that's because I'm busy with two kiddos. What a joy and blessing it is to have this little man in my life. He may be feisty sometimes (like his daddy) but he is a loving and sensitive little person.
I am proud of my very first tomato plant. Sure, they're all tiny and only two have turned red but it is amazing to have my daughter help grow our own fruit. Next year, I plan on building one small raised bed and growing some zucchini and tomatoes, and perhaps some other delicious veggies. I would like to plant a fruit tree as well. All in good time, of course. But for now, this is great. My daughter will pick and eat them when I'm not looking and I enjoy watching her.
My trip to Toronto was pleasant. I captured some amazing moments with my kids, hung out with old friends and new ones, went to the zoo and watched the dolphins splash as Marineland. We had a blast playing with Uncles and Aunties and had the opportunity to meet new cousins. Overall, it was one amazing vacation and I hope there are many more to come.
I've always been creative in many ways and I always LOVE new challenges. This was my first attempt at a diaper cake. Aside from all the little details my OCD missed, I think it turned out great. I hope she loves it!
